Shelter movie review

Sometimes the life you have isn't the one you want.


I just watched movie "Shelter" online and I can tell you that it's quite good. This is my second gay movie that I watched. I watched only "Broakback Mountain" before this and I like "Shelter" cause it's more modern and closer to me.

I like a story between Zech and Shaun. It is so romantic, so dramatic and so amazing. I like it as happy end, but just for the record to all gays, not every story ends like that one or starts like that one :( It will be nice, but still it isn't like that.

I won't spoil anything to you; just watch the movie that's my recommendation.

I'd like to find something like this (I mean on their relationship), looks kinda normal now.

P.S. Recommend me some other movies like this one and "Brokeback Mountain".

    Have you seen the movie "Latter Days"? I would recommend that one. Also, there's a French movie called "A cause d'un garcon." I don't know how to write in the accents and such. :(

    Shelter was freaking beautiful! And yeah, I totally recommend Latter Days and "A cause d'un garcon." I also liked "juste une question d'amour" and "plata quemata." I recommend those as good GLBT films that have plot and substance.

    Thanks for the recomendations, that "Later Days" seems like nice movie (well, just by the title)... Cause I don't have sources where I can buy these movies, I must look online. Thanks one more time :)

    I really enjoyed "Come Undone" even if it really didn't make much sense...it's more of a character study than a plot driven film, but good nonetheless. Plus, Jérémie Elkaïm is such a stud!

    Check out the movie "A Beautiful Thing" It's one of my all time LGBT films and I recommend it to anyone. I just watched Shelter tonight for the first time and loved it and that's how I stumbled upon your blog.     Just came across your blog and working my way from your first post to the newest one. I like what I'm reading and can't wait to see when you and D. get together.
    I like the movie "Mysterious Skin" but it isn't a happy ending story but dark. I thinks it's really good and a definite watch.

I won't write about anything special, I will just try to start a group of posts called "Photo of the Day". This is today's photo. I feel a lack of inspiration to write something interesting so I want to bring closer to you a part of my life, through pictures. Hope you'll enjoy. What happened with my studies?

To be honest, I decided my study field very hasty. When I was at the end of my high school, I was lost and I didn’t know what I will do with my life. Then I thought about computers, because I’ve always loved them and I always wanted to do something with my websites I had back then (the blog is one of them ), and I was very interested in programming in my senior year. But… to apply for any department that has computer science as a program, you need to take an exam with mathematics in it. I hated mathematics, and I still do, so I left that aside. It left an unbearable pain in my heart, because I still love computers and I learned a lot on my own, but I’m not that professional and official as I would have been if I had enrolled for some computer science program.
